Online College

I plan on taking online classes from Full Sail University, that way I dont have to leave my hometown to go to the college that offers the degree I want (I'm looking into programing, digital design, and web design). However, I fear that I will be missing out on some important factors of college life.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

over sea's is crazy, we dont do this stuff in Aus, as theres always a college near by. like japan and china come to Melbourne Australia for college degree for a few years away from there familys. Actually i'll rephrase the first part, i would have to travel to Melbourne if i wanted to become say a Jet Pilot, but lucky for me its 2 hours driver or less.

Ender, if you are talking about College life as in leaving home to go to college? your not missing out on much. the guys i speak to here say the only difference is you sleep there and come home on the weekends. Theres also college partys and fun, but every college does this whether your living in college or just going to college while living at home.
when i went to college i was glad to get the hell out of there lol

but still, USA college maybe more fun, i dont know mate.

just remember your young, you can do your degree and still have the chance after that to do the college life. when i was at college i seen 30 to 40 year old. your never to old mate. and good luck, not many people have an aim in life. web design is huge money, i have had to learn what i know my self which limits me on web design for flash websites. eg: would it not be ones dream to create a flash based website for sony pictures/movies and get paid shit loads. if you enjoy doing it, then go for it.

Yeah, law enforcements my main. But i mean, for extra cash on the side nothing beats building a website, making someone a logo/graphic, etc.

A few of my friends have talked about operating our own web/graphic business.

yep, thats a good first step. build your web/graphic site and make money. but you need to be seen, you can get buyers at (pm me) when the time comes. also word of mouth coming from friends and family is good, thats where i get my work, i do this on the side away from my computer work. good luck

Yer, you know what kinda stuff I do. I just need to get good at doing web on my own... Will be taken care of next year

And then when i go to college, so yeahh.
