Is it possible to temporarily change my proxy server so it shows I live in the US? Because I want to watch a show on the MTV site, but it is only for those who live in the US.

Yes it is possible. I used to do it often, but i cannot quite remember what site i used to get the up-to-date proxy http proxy. But you might be able to get away with using proxy tunnels, which are websites that allow you to surf anonomously.

I'm not exactly sure, I never have to worry about this living in the US but here's a good proxy site:
